Georgie married Irene, who stood by his side with steadfast love. He was a cherished father to Don and his partner Jackie, and son Matthew with his wife Christina. Grandchildren Tori, Harry, Jacob, Rose, Alex, Andy, and Belle were a continual source of pride and joy. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers—Adeline, Ida, Valerie, William, Michael, Sidney—and a broad extended family and many friends who valued his presence in their lives.

Funeral Details and Service of Thanksgiving

Georgie will repose at his home, beginning this evening, Monday 13th October, from 5:00 pm, and again from 10:00 am on Tuesday. Repose will continue on the morning of the funeral, Wednesday 15th October, from 10:00 am. The funeral will depart from his home at 1:45 pm for a Service of Thanksgiving at St Columba’s Church, Craigadoes, at 2:00 pm. A burial will follow in Toughboyne Parish Church graveyard, Carrigans. Family flowers only are requested; donations may be made in lieu to Craigadoes Church and the Irish Cancer Society, via any family member or Terence McClintock Funeral Director.
