Overview of the Case
A cyber-attack targeting a London nursery chain has led to the arrest of two suspects, a 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man. Police say both were arrested at residential addresses in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, on suspicion of computer misuse and blackmail. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspects remain in custody for questioning.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that about 8,000 children’s photographs, names, and addresses were exposed in the breach connected to the Kido chain. The incident has raised concerns among parents and carers about privacy, safety, and the potential for further harm.
