LiGHT 25 Returns with VIP Design Tour for Interior Designers

LiGHT 25 Returns to London with a VIP Design Tour for Interior Designers

LiGHT 25, the leading trade show for architectural and decorative lighting, is back in London for its fourth edition. Slated for 19–20 November at the Business Design Centre, the event doubles down on its mission to illuminate high-end hospitality and interior design with a curated mix of brands, talks, and immersive experiences. This year, LiGHT introduces a standout feature for the design community: the VIP Design Tour.

A New VIP Design Tour: A Curated Preview for Premium Brands

The VIP Design Tour is a one-hour, expertly guided experience designed specifically for interior designers and specifiers. Held on the morning of 19 November, the tour offers an exclusive first look at hand-selected premium lighting brands that are especially relevant to upscale interiors. The aim is to provide a focused, efficient way to explore the best in lighting design while meeting brand representatives who can discuss how their products translate into memorable hospitality environments.

Participants will begin at 9:45am, with brand introductions and a sequence of short previews that showcase the latest launches. After the tour, designers are invited to the Lounge for light refreshments and networking with peers, manufacturers, and fellow specifiers. This new feature reflects LiGHT’s ongoing commitment to practical, designer-centric experiences in a complex procurement landscape.

Brands on Show and Why They Matter

LiGHT 25 brings together a robust lineup of premium brands including Industville, Italamp, LedsC4, Lightnet, Lodes, Lumen Loom, SAAS, Tala, and Vibia. These companies are known for pushing aesthetics and technology—balancing artistry with performance to meet the exacting needs of luxury hotel projects, boutique hotels, and high-end restaurants. The VIP tour offers designers a chance to engage with these brands directly, discuss specification details, and gain insight into forthcoming products that could shape projects well into the next decade.

Three Zones, One Comprehensive Experience

In response to the scale of the lighting industry today, LiGHT 25 is organized into three distinct zones. This layout helps visitors navigate a broad spectrum of brands, technologies, and solutions—from architectural lighting to decorative pieces and smart controls. The split enables a smoother flow and allows specifiers to tailor their visit to their current project needs, whether they are sourcing energy-efficient luminaires, ambient lighting for hospitality spaces, or statement pieces to define a venue’s mood.

Beyond the Exhibition Floor: Talks, Procurement, and Networking

LiGHT 25 isn’t just a marketplace. The event reaffirms its role as a forum for education and dialogue through the d|arc thoughts talks, in collaboration with Lutron. Highlights include:

  • Shaping Atmospheres: Sanjit Bahra of Design Plus Light joins representatives from Vibia and ProtoPixel to explore how light and space collaborate to shape mood, perception, and hotel identity.
  • Brilliant on Paper, Broken on Site: James Siddle of Ideaworks leads a discussion on procurement’s role in actualizing a design vision, addressing common pitfalls from miscommunication to delivery challenges.

All talks are free to attend, and the full programme is available at the event’s dedicated page. In addition to talks, LiGHT 25 offers a dedicated co-working space with free Wi-Fi, late-night hours, a VIP party, a networking lunch, and an immersive light art installation from Speirs Major Light Architecture. The combination of curated tours, educational talks, and collaborative spaces reinforces LiGHT’s status as the essential annual gathering for lighting decision-makers in hospitality design.

Why LiGHT 25 Matters for Hospitality Design

For interior designers working on high-end hospitality projects, LiGHT 25 is more than a trade show—it is a practical catalyst for spec selection, project timelines, and creative storytelling through light. The introduction of the VIP Design Tour signals a recognition that visual impact in luxury environments hinges on both product excellence and strategic procurement. By blending brand showcases, curated tours, and thought-provoking talks, LiGHT 25 supports designers in delivering spaces that are not only beautiful but also technically flawless and logistically sound.
