He also took pride in the roles he held as a father-in-law and grandfather to a large and loving family. His children Ann Marie, Mairead, and Mary Ita remember him as a steady source of support, guidance, and encouragement. In particular, his grandchildren—Sarah, Molly, Caoimhe, Stephen, Eavan, Pierce, Ruairi, Casey, Grace, Bill, and Ned—brought him immense joy, and he will be remembered for the time and attention he devoted to them.

Funeral arrangements and tribute
Reposing at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Athea, on Tuesday evening (September 30th), from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Athea, on Wednesday at 12 noon, and will be live-streamed at www.churchservices.tv/athea. He will be laid to rest afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery, Athea. The family has requested that the house remain private as they honour Bill’s memory and privacy during this time.
